Working together, we’ll identify your buyer’s online journey, their pain points and what will get them to say ‘yes, sign me up!’ to your offering. I have a custom step-by-step process that will take us through each part of your website build, including your content creation.

Your audience

We’ll work together to identify your audience, their pain points, their buyer’s journey and how your website will connect with them and, more importantly, how your services will solve their problems. You’ll sign off on a sitemap outlining every piece of information on the site ahead of the build.

Your content

My focus is on your audience and your content. I’ll create a custom copywriting workbook based on your approved sitemap and, if you choose, use a trained AI to generate content as needed and copy-edit the whole thing to make sure your voice isn’t lost.

Your Website

At the end of my custom step-by-step process, you’ll have a website that sings to your audience, and I’ll train you how to use every aspect of your new website, so you can make updates, add content, post blogs and more once the project is complete.

Frequently asked questions

Building a great website requires teamwork, creativity and organization. It’s taken me over a decade of web design to create a process that is optimized to remove the roadblocks that often come with building an online presence. So, here are a few common questions that come up.

If you’re looking to get a full breakdown of how this all works and each step of the process, I’d love to book a time to chat and explain it all in detail.

  • Yes, and no. I've invested a lot of time into learning how to use ChatGPT to optimize content creation. During your website process, we will work together to identify your buyer journey, pain points, service/product solutions, and what pages/content will be required to turn curious visitors into customers.

    Once we have all this infortmation approved, I'll create a sitemap that outlines all the content and pages of your website. And when that's approved, you can choose if you want help with your content.

    If you do, I'll use this information to train my AI on your brand and create your content workbook pre-filled with unedited copy generated from the AI to get you started. With something on the page, most people find it easier to edit than to write from scratch. You can also opt to include copyediting as a part of the web package to make sure all of your content sound like your brand - not like an AI chatbot.

    If you choose not to have help with your content, I will create a content workbook with questions and prompts from me to you, to help get your creativity flowing.

  • Ideally, you'll be coming into this process with a fully formed business idea, as well as the services or products you'll be offering.

    However, as a part of your step-by-step process, we will spend time figuring out how your services/product is best positioned for your audience.

    If you're not at this step quite yet, it might be best to book consulting hours ahead of your website build to discuss your marketing position.

  • Your website will come with the connection to any email service provider you choose.

    If you would like to set up a lead magnet, welcome email sequence, and newsletter, that would be an add-on or separate project.

  • This varies from project to project. Ideally, you would have custom branded photography, but if you don't have those, we can source photos from free stock sites, canva or you'll be provided with suggestions from paid stock sites - depending on what you prefer.

    If you would like to use custom illustrations for your website instead, I will either source them for you from paid sites or create them myself, depending on your budget.

    (Note: Simple icons and free stock images are included in all website packages base price.)

  • Social media content strategy and management are seperate services from your website.

    If you're looking for a content strategy, social media strategy or digital marketing strategy as a part of your website build, it's cost-effective to combine them into a phrased project as much of the research done for both overlaps and reduces the cost. Let me know during your intake meeting if you're looking for that kind of addition.

  • Generally between 4-8 weeks, depending on the platform. My preferred platform is Squarespace, which takes on average 6 weeks from the start of the project to training. WordPress websites require more time and can sometimes take up to 10 weeks, depending on the functionality.

  • For Online Courses, I work with Kajabi or Teachable and link them to a website. For smaller pre-recorded offerings, you can use Squarespace.

    I do not offer any WordPress plugin-related LMS builds. However I can still help you build the course itself in those cases.

  • I offer e-commerce via Shopify or Squarespace. For smaller shops, Squarespace is more affordable, but for large inventories, I recommend Shopify as it is inventory management, catalogue, invoicing, etc. all in one.
